Most men are all the same. I should know—I happen to be one. I love thinking about sex—a lot. In fact, going through puberty as a teenager, I would acquire anything I could get my hands on, and that included posters of girls in swimsuits, magazines with explicit nudity, or manuals for sexual education. My bedroom walls were an ongoing joke in school because my mom let me fill them entirely with Kathy Ireland, Cindy Crawford, and Pamela Anderson posters (at the time the hottest women around). You name it, I probably had it. Ahh, the visions of boobs, butts, and tummy’s swirled through my brain 24/7. Women—what wonderful creations.
High school was particularly wonderful. There were girls everywhere. But my other preoccupation was not necessarily on the physical appeal of the female form but on the instruction on how they work. Yes, I would fantasize about a woman naked in my room, but in the beginning had no idea what I would do if one were presented. My main focus later on in high school was A. How to get a girl and B. What to do with her once I had her attention? With experience, I figured out more and more. But obviously, with maturity, you learn to control yourself at a socially acceptable level.
Not too soon after high school, I began modeling. During those early years, I never imagined working with naked models, and me being one of them. As time progressed, I began working more jobs—mostly with naked women. What astounded me the first time was how comfortable everyone was while being nearly naked. I eventual learned to carry on a conversation as we all changed together. It was amazing to be behind the scenes, especially the runway shows with beautiful men and women ripping their designer clothes off, down to nude, all in unison. As the years grew, so did my level of maturity. I became a more respectable man, and treated everyone one set with respect but mostly the women. It took some time, but eventually I stopped staring and was able to carry on while boobs jiggled and butts wiggled.
There is a major difference between men and women. Not only physically but in the way we think. Men are completely wired differently than women both mentally and hormonally. For men, it’s the testosterone that causes most of the sexual responses. This hormone, especially for teenage boys and young adult males, can override all reasonable thinking and judgement. Even though this hormone courses through my body and brain daily, I have learned to control my sexual impulses, despite every part of my brain screaming for me to ogle the beautiful, naked and smiling female model frantically undressing right next to me. I really believe that these experiences were training me for something bigger and better.
And then I was introduced to Liberator.
It was about 10 years ago when my girlfriend booked a shoot with Liberator. I went with her for moral support—who am I kidding, I was curious about how it was all done. That’s when they asked her if she knew of a model that she’d be comfortable shooting intimate shots in lingerie. She lifted her hand and pointed the finger directly at me. I was asked about my experience, and the photographer soon explained that this shoot was going to be close and sexy, but not pornish. If I could accomplish that—then I had the job.
Great! I thought, “I can do intimate, but will leave the porn for viewing for another job.” I knew that the success of this shoot was completely up to me. I had to be the one to create a sexually realistic look without getting horribly and embarrassingly hard. And to do this, I used the power of controlling my body via the mind. (I’m writing another article for later.) Surprisingly, I did it and have done it ever since that time. That first shoot with Liberator turned out to be a decade of the most interesting job ever.
The #1 question all my buddies ask is, “How do you all of these sexy photo shoots without getting hard.” My answer is always the same. I’m a professional and have to remain that way with the models I work with on a regular basis. But a lot of times, it’s easier said than done. Especially when your around sexy, nearly naked models that rival my high wall posters and a creative team expecting me to do my best.
Here are just a few things that have been said to me by the creative team at Liberator:
“Adam, get behind Vicki in the doggie position.”
“Adam, lay on your back and Mynx you crawl over his face for oral.”
“Adam, let her put her legs over your shoulders for oral.”
“Here’s a bag of penis enhancement tools, use them all and we’ll film your review.”
“Here is your Wedge/Ramp Combo. Go have a bunch of dirty sex all over it, and we’ll film your review.”
“Put these cuffs and collar on. Oh yeah, and Cami you strap him in.”
“Adam, sit on the edge of this Esse Chaise and then (1 of the 3 lovely models) will straddle you in reverse cowgirl.”
“Here is your penis pump for yet another review.”
“We got the new Octopuss Pulse Duo II that you will have to try.” “It’s a penis vibrator that wraps around the shaft and it has 4 vibration patterns. The alternating speeds are designed for when you use it with your girl. She can ride you and experience the toy as well. Let us know what you think” My reply, “Oh. Well, fuck yeah.”
“She will need to use this flogger on you for this shot. Just let us know if it gets too rough.” My response, “The safe word is pineapple.”
“It’s time for lunch.”
“This have an amazing prostate massager. My husband loves it and comes right away. You’ll love it.”
“We loved your new article on It was reposted by a major news outlet!”
“Here are your notes for our show today on Western Rope Bondage.”
Here’s a prime example of the effort it takes to remain focused while working. Although I was extremely turned-on—it was an opportunity for my body, and my mind, to work in perfect harmony. There were moments, however, when the brain tried to take over completely.
Many of my friends are curious about my job, and often times, have false impressions about what really happens. A typical day of shooting at Liberator means that we (the models) are nearly nude. We are all given summary of the day’s events with checklists for shooting sexual positions. The total amount of time spent on producing a a series of images for one product can take up to 5 blissful hours. Because it’s literally like working with family, time really does fly. It’s a team effort with everyone making sure it’s a fun and respectful environment. To break some of the tension, we all are constantly joking and sharing stories. The photographer, Cooper is an especially kind soul, as well as the design and creative team. When it’s time to leave, I don’t feel depleted but energized and uplifted.
While on set, I’m too focused on getting the perfect shot. So, for me, it’s far sexier to look at the completed project and end result, than the memory of the actual job. In this particular genre of modeling you have to project a sense of confidence and allure as all times. However the most important aspect of this job is making the product the focal point. I sound cliche—but it’s not as easy as it looks! All that flexing and keeping your entire body tight can be exhausting.
This job is nothing like your typical “day-job.” There is no desk, and if there were, I would be the one bent over it. Because there is no dress code, thankfully, I don’t have to wear a uniform, or a stuffy tie—well only if it’s related to role playing. The ladies don’t have to worry about “looking” business professional either. They are usually decked out in the sweetest lingerie consisting of thongs, garter belts & pasties in lieu of power-suits. Me, just a pair of Calvin’s. The only props we use are the Liberator Shapes.
There is truth in that everything we do (regardless of what we do) there is a lesson tucked in there somewhere. Yes, models too can have ah-ha moments. For me, the greatest lesson learned is being able to separate my physiological desires and hone my skills at sexual gratifications and self-control. When you are that close to sex–it takes a lot of control to keep from getting erect. Because of modeling, I’ve been able to embrace the delicacy within my own personal relationships.
On top of all the memorable times and photoshoots, I’ve had countless—and I mean countless of orgasm’s from the numerous toys and products which Liberator has so graciously given me for “testing.” These testing reviews have helped me understand more about my own sexual needs and urges. Furthermore, this job has opened the door of opportunity which has allowed me to write informative blog articles—bringing you the best in health and sexual information. What greater joy than having to review things made for a my happy penis—all for the sake of keeping the public and you well informed.
Here’s to clean eating and dirty sex.
