Summer of Sex: Sizzling Lifestyle Clubs and Resorts You MUST Visit This Summer

Are you looking for a blazing hot vacay spot for lusty adventures with your lover? These resorts, parks, and social clubs let you hang loose and hang free. I’ll give you the deets on some places I’ve visited and highly recommend. So, start working on your base tan because we’re adding some super sexy destinations to your FUCK-IT list!

Paradise Valley Resort -- Dawsonville. Georgia

Paradise Valley Resort is about an hour or so north of Atlanta proper. This members-only clothing-optional resort is bangin’ in the summertime because it has EVERYTHING. Two conversation pools, one large pool, one water volleyball pool, two hot tubs, four bars, a three-story nightclub (Level 3), three places to eat, and a huge community of nudists and lifestylers. They even have a BDSM/kink club and a boutique, so you can buy sexy clothes for theme nights at the nightclub.

Speaking of Level 3 – it boasts two bars, a huge dance floor, a DJ booth, a balcony with sofas and chairs overlooking the dance floor, a giant video screen, three stripper poles surrounded by couches in the lower level, along with private playrooms and a large open play area. Even though it’s a private, members-only resort, you can buy day and weekend passes (which I HIGHLY recommend for holiday weekends like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day).

Look out for special weekend or day pass deals to save some dough, and plan a few months out for big holidays. Join the PaVaRes group on Facebook to find cabin rentals and stay on campus. This is a fantastic place for newbies to experience nudism – it feels safe and welcoming.

We were members for years and had a cottage there. There's something so liberating about being naked and free. We have met fascinating people from all walks of life, including musicians, former pro athletes, doctors, titans of industry, artists, teachers, nurses, etc. Everyone sheds their inhibitions, preconceived notions, and worries at the Valley.

At the Lodge and the Outback, they feed you all day and pour good, stiff cocktails (Food is FREE and included with membership, but drinks are on you). You’ll find live music at The Lodge on Friday nights and a DJ playing at the Tiki Bar until everyone migrates indoors for the club. On Saturday nights, you can enjoy themed parties at Level 3 and occasional costume contests, plus a midnight buffet breakfast. They also host events nearly every night of the week and regularly give away gifts. We love Level 3 because you can dance and get all hyped up.

I can't say enough glowing things about this destination. There’s a good reason people fall in love with it and buy cottages to stick around. Vive la Valley!

Hippie Hollow -- Austin, Texas

Hippie Hollow is the ONLY clothing-optional public park in the State of Texas, located on the lovely shores of Lake Travis, northwest of Austin. I was captivated by the landscape of this unique park. You’re in the mountains, but also on a lake, and it feels kind of like an arid desert. You can shed your clothes once you get beyond the parking lot fence and amble into the park. The paved trail runs along the lake, with rocks and plants on the left. You'll see boaters far off in the distance cruising by, and some big houses, too. I recommend Hippie Hollow for its rugged charms and gorgeous views. As part of your day trip, before leaving the area, you must stop by the HULA HUT. This delightful little tiki bar/restaurant on the lake delivers great aloha vibes and yummy drinks.

Oasis Aqualounge -- Toronto, Canada

Oasis Aqualounge is a three-story, water-themed spa and lounge club is tucked away in a historic mansion in downtown Toronto (in a surprisingly unassuming, nice area). Enter through the arched doorway on the bottom floor, where they check you in and let you change out of your clothes in the second-floor locker room. Now you’re ready to explore! An outdoor pool (perfectly heated and open YEAR ROUND) in a hidden courtyard gives you complete privacy, and it’s sensuously lit at night. The second floor also has what I’d call a “suspension” room. There’s a sex swing hanging from the ceiling, and when we visited, a submissive was just hanging from the ceiling in some sort of cocoon-like contraption. The third floor has half of a VW bus on one side and orgy beds on the other side.

Oasis is very sex-positive and welcoming for everyone. They do allow single guys, so be prepared for some advances, though we found everyone polite and respectful of boundaries. Colette Nightclub -- Austin, Texas

Like the Valley, Colette is a private membership-only social club for couples, single men, and women who are curious or active in different relationship lifestyles, like swinging, polyamory, or consensual non-monogamy. They have locations in New Orleans, Dallas, Houston and Austin. We made a trek to the Austin location and it was PHENOMENAL. Unlike some seedy clubs I won’t mention, Colette’s is very upscale and gorgeous inside. It feels luxurious, and it is gigantic.

They have stripper poles, a huge bar and dance floor, king-size beds on the stair landings, a huge play area full of beds separated by sheer curtains, and a voyeur area to watch the action in the beds or gaze out over the dance floor. Unfortunately, it wasn’t crowded when we went, so we didn’t get as much of the overall party vibe, but I’m sure holidays like Halloween or Mardi Gras are slammin'! Colette sets the bar sky-high for private social clubs, and I can’t wait to return!

Black’s Beach -- La Jolla, California

If you’re on the West Coast and looking to get naked, head to scenic Black’s Beach, a spectacular, special public park. La Jolla and San Diego are known as surfing meccas, but this clothing-optional beach is a gem unto itself. It’s located on a two-mile stretch below the towering cliffs alongside the Torrey Pines Gliderport, so you can watch hang gliders soar hundreds of feet above you while you tan in the buff. The hike to the beach is a tad daunting (if you have vertigo and a fear of heights like me), but Hubs managed to guide me down the path. The payoff is a gorgeous expanse of the Pacific coast. Yes, people will be checking you out, but that’s kind of the thrill, right?

Trapeze -- Atlanta, Georgia

Visiting Atlanta or Fort Lauderdale? Trapeze has locations in both cities – the Atlanta location has been around for 18 years! This swingers club is touted as the #1 Swingers Club In The Nation, and it’s easy to see why it gets accolades. Open to couples and singles, we ventured there for a company event. Liberator is creating an immersive experience at Trapeze Atlanta, to be unveiled very soon, and we had to do some research. We signed up as members and entered a fantasy wonderland. SO SWANKY.
