Carnivale Plug

I love all of Liberator's products and the Carnivale in no exception. It's solid glass so it has a nice weight to it, but it's not too heavy. The finish is very high quality, it's very smooth/slick so it's very easy to insert and remove. And the design and colors are beautiful. My only real complaint is that the tip isn't quite as rounded as the pictures show on the website. I haven't had any problems with it so far, but I'm not 100% comfortable with how pointy it is for a glass product. So I'm considering what I can do to possibly round and then polish the tip.

"Carnivalesque" is used to refer to "a literary mode that subverts and liberates the assumptions of the dominant atmosphere through humor and chaos" (Wikipedia). In the carnival, nothing is as it seems, and hierarchies are overturned. The world is turned upside down and high culture and art mingle with the profane. It's only fitting that this Carnivale be at once a very high-end, very beautiful piece of swirled Latticino art glass and a butt plug. Calling something so beautiful a butt plug feels crass, and using it as such feels like a perversion of art. How very carnivalesque. This Carnivale is a solid, hand sculpted butt plug made of borosilicate glass, not hollow like many cheaply made glass toys, making the Carnivale and other Erotic Glassworks toys some of the highest quality, strongest and most well made erotic glass toys on the market. Each one is slightly different, because they're hand crafted. They're expensive, but they have good reason to be so. You're getting your money's worth on this one. With a little care not to drop the Carnivale, it's going to last you a lifetime of pleasurable use - and you can display it on the mantle when it's not in use. It's easy to use. Being glass, not much lube is needed and it stays slick. The curves feel fantastic going in and coming out, though the small might have been a smidge too small for me - I chose it for the beautiful colors.
