Purchased this as a late birthday, early Christmas gift for my husband. Ok, really it was for me, but hey, he gets the benefits too. The microfiber side is very soft, feels great against the skin. We tried it on a king size bed and the size was good. There was a lot of area to move around on and still be on the blanket without feeling like we were limited to a small space. One of my favorite parts is that it goes through the wash beautifully. I think it will now become a travel companion and go everywhere we go. Very nice to use when not at home. | ||||||||||||||

I am a woman who has been ejaculating for the last decade. Although anything is possible, I can't imagine there being other women who make the magnitude of the messes I make. Great materials, okay size. It would be nice if the throw were just a bit larger to cover more space. Having said that the price for this size is a bit high in our opinion. They should definitely either increase the size of the throw or decrease the price. Also we were curious as to what the "shag" material looks/feels like but couldn't see any pictures or real descriptions of this material. We bought the microfiber throw and we're pleasantly pleased with this. | ||||||||||||||

DEAR SWEET LORD. Rarely will I review a product and claim that it is something that everyone should own, but that's what I'm about to tell you. If you have sex, you need this. The Fascinator Throe by Liberator is the best thing that has happened to my bedroom since the boyfriend. So, you may ask...what is a Fascinator Throe? To which I would respond, 'Uh, you mean other than amazing?' Okay, seriously...I'll stop gushing (ha...that's the beauty! I don't have to!). Oh...I'm too much. Anyway...back to the task at hand...Liberator's Fascinator Throe is a blanket made specifically for the naughty time. One side of the Fascinator is satiny smooth, one side is a plush microfiber. Inside the blanket is a medical grade waterproof barrier. Seriously...this thing is almost magic. It will hold an incredible amount of liquid. The boyfriend and I own three of these (we like to be prepared) and we have tested all of them to death. We tend to have pretty sloppy sex. He does things to me that I struggle to even describe, but the end result was always a very uncomfortable night on a very soggy mattress. Well not anymore! The Fascinator means you no longer have to worry about any messes as a result of your raucous romps in (or out of) the sack. Always wanted to go to town on that Italian leather sofa you love so much? Now you can. The Throe will keep any lube, oils or love juices contained and off your good sheets, sofa, carpet, car seats...the possibilities are endless (do you see why we have three now?). The best part? The Fascinator is machine washable. Soak the thing in all kinds of love sauce, and then just throw it in the washing machine...and then the dryer...and you're good to go again. I have honestly never been as pleased with any other product I have ever purchased. From anywhere. Ever. Not only is the blanket incredibly functional, it's not too bad to look at either. The Throe comes in a wide variety of colors. The boyfriend and I have one in purple, blue, and tan. The purple and blue are both shag, while the tan is a smoother, almost velvety microfiber. I don't have a bad thing to say about either style. Both have the same satiny feeling material on the reverse side. The one thing the shag has going for it is that it is a bit more absorbent. No liquid is going to get through any of these Throes, but the shag may absorb any fluids a little better than the pooling that may happen on the regular microfiber. The Throes are also pretty passable as normal blankets. If someone picks one up and examines it, they'll be able to feel the waterproof barrier inside, but if you leave this on the foot of your bed or folded on the back of the couch, no one is going to know at a glance that it is essentially a sex blanket. I'm obviously in love with my Fascinator Throes. Even before I began this blog I raved about them to anyone who would listen. Several people have mentioned that they couldn't imagine why one would need a waterproof blanket for sex. Honestly, I kinda feel sorry for anyone who doesn't understand why the Fascinator Throe is incredible, even if only to avoid the occasional wet spot that no one wants to sleep in. Liberator has truly created something that is worth its weight in gold. And I am talking its weight after an average weekend in my bedroom. | ||||||||||||||

I searched high and low for a waterproof blanket. This blanket was reasonably priced, looks and feels beautiful [NOT able to tell what it is REALLY for], and keeps the bed, floor, etc clean and dry -- both for us, and b/c of us. I recommend this to everyone. | ||||||||||||||

We love our blue throe. We chose the plush option. It is great to have a blanket/surface dedicated to play time, you never worry about getting it messy and clean up is so easy. My husband and I used to put a towel underneath me before sex (when we remembered). It never felt sexy, and it sometimes leaked through to the bed anyway! I absolutely love my Throe. One side is super soft and velvety while the other side is nice and silky. Both sides are amazingly fun to play on, but the velvet sides provides more traction since you'll slide on the silk side. The material seems pretty thick, and it feels like a nice, high-quality blanket. The only difference between it and a regular blanket is that this Throe ends up being a crinkly. When you move around on it, it does great a bit of crinkles because of the waterproof layer inside of the blanket. However, it's not that noticeable during play, and it'd probably only bother you if you want to go nap with the blanket. (Which I've done and it didn't bother me at all.) The Throe does an amazing job of keeping liquids off of the material underneath it. For sex or female ejaculation (or male ejaculation), you won't find a single drop anywhere but on the blanket. (Unless you missed.) For other messier things like watersports, food play, or playing in lots of lubricant, it remains the same - all of your mess will stay on the blanket. The only reason your mess might make it off the blanket is if the mess becomes too large for the blanket (and overflows) or just because you missed. It's soft, the material is sensual, and it's a high-quality blanket which is great for sex. It makes any surface feel like a sexy surface and keeps you from washing towels. Plus, it's very discreet and no one would know the difference. I'd highly, highly recommend this to anyone. | ||||||||||||||

If none of the other reviews have convinced you to buy one of these throes, well, let this be the one that does. Other people have said that this product is magic for ladies who squirt, and it absolutely is. But I know personally that it holds up to heavy use by TWO women who had previously been forced to either be chaste, or sleep in wet spots the size of the Everglades. My partner and I had searched EVERYWHERE to find something that could keep the deluge in check, but all to no avail. That is...until we found Liberator. We use this throe (and the second one we bought for when the first is in the washer) AT LEAST four times a week and every time, it gets drenched. And, every time, it keeps the bed totally dry. We wash them just as often as we use them, and they are still perfectly fine. We have had the first one over a year, so there is a little bit of wear along the piping that lines the outer edges, but that is to be expected. No wear shows on the main part of the fabric. Ladies who squirt, gentlemen who like ladies who squirt, ladies who squirt and who like ladies that squirt,too: This throw will be the best investment you make in your bedroom. But one, buy two, heck, buy three. You'll be glad you did! (p.s. some other reviewers mentioned that they started to squirt MORE when they bought this, and it is true! My partner and I love this product! It [mostly] keeps the bed dry after a fun-filled adventure, but we still end up with wet spots on the bed. The satin side is extremely soft, but is often too slippery and snags easily on the velcro when we accidentally [in the throws of passion] use our black label shapes. Now hold on there...if you started reading looking for some really kinky details, you will be sadly misdirected. However, the title is true. My wife and I love our fascinator throw which we purchased shortly after we got married, and now a few years later still use regularly. I am an actual pastor, so my wife and I are around a lot of couples that don't have sex until they get married. Because of that starting last year we started putting together a sensuality basket for our friends including a throw, some lube, condoms, lotion, and a book that we found really helpful for first-timers. We've since done that 3 times and all the couples were very confused at first with the throw, but after "getting to know their partner" they've said resoundingly that it's the best present they recieved for their wedding. There are only a few downsides, 1) if you are in the moment and forget to put it down before, you likely won't. 2) Similarly, when you're washing it you might end up going without it, which we usually wish we had. (this could be remidied by purchasing a second throw...maybe offer a discounted 2 pack?) 3) we recently purchased one for our friends that were getting married and they no longer come with a case/bag which we thought was a bummer, as we like our case. | ||||||||||||||

This is the best thing I ever bought for myself. You can take it anywhere. Quite a large surface, and water proof. Great to be able to sleep on dry sheets after sex, or have a clean, waterproof surface for on the go fun. I am a squirter and I was constantly having to put down multiple towels before any kind of business. The towels never worked, I always ended up changing the sheets and sometimes the mattress pad. The Throes is awesome!!!! I pull it out, we can get down to business and there is no huge clean up afterward. You just throw it in the wash and your done. It really works! The throe was only 4x5, not the 5x6 advertised. This may not sound like a huge difference, but it really does make it too small for a lot of the scenarios we had in mind. For example, it doesn't cover our queen-sized bed. Also, the sofa scenario shown in the pictures doesn't quite work either, the throe reaches the top of the couch, but just barely, and doesn't hang over the edge so that it will hold itself in place. I wrote in, and was told that the difference was intentional, and that it had to do with improving drying times. I'd prefer the extra size, personally. At a minimum, the site should be updated to show accurate product information. I bought the throe about 6 months ago. I have a ramp/wedge combo that I LOVE, but the Fascinator was a bit of a disappointment, to be honest. | ||||||||||||||

Comfortable (though not to the 'decadent' please-just-let-me-touch-it level), discrete (kids/parents could find it without embarrassment), durable (maybe 30 washings so far with nary a dropped thread) and performs fantastically. *MUCH* more comfortable than sleeping on a pile of towels (or on Squishy's messes :-)). I am generally not a review writer, but I want to state that if you have the need, this is *the* solution. | ||||||||||||||

I just purchased another one of these for me and my wife. We have had the first one for 6 months. My wife was good at getting wet before but was always worried about the bed sheets. We even tried the crib pads with no luck. With this, there has not been ANY worries. She has even got wetter than before which I absolutely LOVE. This second sheet is a different pattern and will be our backup in case the other is in the wash when we have lovin' again! (..the next morning?) Its worth the price. The Fascinator Throe is amazing. I have the Shag throe in purple, and it's so pretty. The material is high quality, and the way it feels against the sin is delightful. I have used my throe alone, and with a partner, and either way it is a true pleasure to use. I am going to get a Microfiber throe also, because I love my Shag one so much. We have had this for over two years and can not count the number of times its been washed. What a super product if your gal is a supersoaker.. It is wonderful previously we have used crib pads and all the other type pads. NOTHING is as great as your products. Every seam is like the day we received it, your quality control is GREAT!!! We've had this over a year now and it works great. I don't end up sleeping in the wet spot!. Satin side is cool to the skin. We seem to hang up on the velor side. Lot's of room to play on it. Machine washes nicely. takes a bit to machine dry. Just follow directons. Wife was shocked at first ,but now it's the new signal. Allows her to express herself fully without worrying about towels ect. So if you are tired of sleeping in the wet spot, get one of these! | ||||||||||||||
