Flu season is upon us, but one thing you won’t have to worry about catching this year is bad sex.
Mary Jo Rapini breaks down how bad sex can happen to all of us, and does, sometimes more often than we like to admit. And it’s not just performance that leads to bad sex. Rapini says little things can leave a bad taste in your lover’s mouth, such as too much alcohol, not wearing deodorant, etc.
Don’t worry about sex being bad, worry about not acknowledging it. Not letting your partner know what’s affecting you and how you feel can break apart a relationship. As Rapini says, “Bad sex can infect a marriage, but only lack of intimacy can kill it.”
As hard as it can be to talk about sex with your partner, you’ll both be better for it in the long haul.
